Yes, if you provide us with the password or list of passwords.
Our data recovery services are for units that fall under the Level 1 scope of work only. We will attempt to recover your deleted photos, music and files from a working drive, or data that was lost because a drive was reformatted. There is a chance your unit will require higher levels of data recovery service and we cannot guarantee your unit will qualify for Level 1 Quick service.
Technically, we need only the physical hard drive or storage media. If the data is on a drive in a computer or other device, schedule a appointment and we will remove the hard drive or storage media for you. Also, if you can provide a list of the specific files you are looking for, it will help us ensure we recover what you need, but we can start the recovery without it.
Data recovery is tricky and depends on the exact device that failed and the nature of the failure. The time it takes to recover files can vary as much as the price does.
Once we recover your files, we save them to an appropriate external drive. You can supply your own drive-in advance, or we will provide you with one at an additional cost.
You can back up your data on a separate type of media (such as an external hard drive or USB flash drive) or back it up online using cloud storage like DropBox, Norton 365 etc. Using both provides extra protection. Consider backing up your personal data once a week and backing up business data on a daily basis. Most backup methods allow you to schedule automatic data backups as often as you want.
We attempt to save any and all data, including songs, photos, files and more.
